The Stages of Hunger...

Here are the four stages of hunger: 1. A LOT, 2. Kind of a lot, 3. Not so much, and 4. Don't wake me up. There was a fifth egg that we're not sure where it went. We watched the four grow and go but number 5 disappeared. Those magic birds, what're you gonna do??

  1. How did you get such an interesting picture? That is so neat a mama bird made your basket into a home for her babies. What kind of bird are they?

I found a website recently called whatbird.com. I went there to try to ID a bird and they have a forum with many helpful people.

  2. I just went to whatbird.com and I can't wait to go back and spend some time there!! Thanks for the tip! I'm 99% sure the birds were finches only because we have a finch feeder close by and that's mostly what we see when we come and go. When we'd open the front door, the mom would fly away so fast we couldn't ever see her up close. Wouldn't you think she'd stay and protect her babies? Nope. She tells them good luck and gets the heck out of there!

ryc: It's funny how you picture things, that's not quite how he gave me the money...lols..he absolutely hates shopping for anything so he just tell's me to get whatever I want within our means? I love your since of humor and wished we live close to one another i'm sure we would get a long wonderfully!
